*** Dome is in superb condition. All the parts are very white ( even more than what it looks like on the pictures... ) All part and pins are very nice. Third leg is missing. Decal is a top quality replica of the basic R2-D2 decal design. I changed it to make him look like near mint-mint. The exceeding plastic parts around the feet are originally made as is by the manufacturer and caused by the mold, so there is no damages to the feet. This R2-D2 is from the Droid factory playset. It could be from 1979 but it comes probably from the 1980 Empire Strikes Back box variant. As I am located in Canada, I purchased him locally, loose. Historically, the 1979 Star Wars box version has not been released in Canada at that time. It has been available in Canada starting from the ESB era. I do not think that there is any difference between the two eras for the figure itself. The original decal is included as it was easily removable and already had a tear, was yellowish and with stains. I include it still, as the design is different from the regular R2-D2 repro decal. ***
