ABOUT THE ARTIST :

Stephan " JOB " Lapierre

Born in 1970 in Matane, Canada, Job studied decorating, drawing and painting for a few years. In 1991, he made his first personal and professional painting. Creating his own company called " Métozéboa " in the middle of the 90's, mixing his techniques & styles using wood and stainless steel, he decided after a few years to focus on painting.

His passion for the art world started at a very young age. Exploring different styles from modern and urban arts to characters and abstract while forging his own personality. All of these influences are now integrated in his work.

Very implicated in the heart of his hometown Matane, he contributed with his art being sold in auctions for good causes such as Leucan ( leukemia & cancer . )

He is now living full time from his art selling about 80 paintings a year. Job's philosophy is very simple. Being not a tortured artist his art MUST be accessible to all and bring people through this chaotic world, serenity, peace, joy and happiness.
